This gadget may look like an ordinary kitchen tidy but don’t be fooled. This is Bruno, the world’s smartest rubbish bin. It’s so smart you’ll wonder why you didn’t think of it first – and how you lived without it all those years. Let me show you what we mean.
First of all, this gadget sucks. No, we mean really sucks. There’s an integrated vacuum inlet in the base that gets rid of pet hair, dust and food crumbs at the sweep of a broom, dumping them directly into the rubbish bag.

Access to the filter and the charging unit is simple – just pop up the secondary lid on the top of the bin.

Don’t have a fireplace but love the ambience of naked flames? This teeny-weeny Tabletop Fireplace is perfect for the tiniest flat or outdoor area. You can put it on any table or other surface. It is fueled by recycled liquid ethanol so it gives off only water vapor and carbon dioxide – and heat, of course, enough to warm a 30 square metre room.

Just in case Fido is feeling left out or feels this is a for-humans-only list, may I present the Petzi Treat Cam, the first product from the Petzila range of smart pet devices — a unit that connects to the automated home to allow pet parents to (‘see’) video, (‘speak’) audio, (‘snap’) take pictures and (‘treat’) dispense treats to their pets remotely using any internet enabled smart device.

UVe is described in the manufacturer’s blurb as “a self-driving, housekeeping companion that uses UV light to disinfect surfaces while you’re away, taking the work off your hands and leaving harsh chemicals out of the equation entirely.” The UVe replaces chemicals – cleaning with the Power of Light. But you knew that, right?
Don’t you love the colour of these bottles? Just what any self-respecting burglar would think on breaking into your home. Completely overlooking the nondescript white device in the foreground.
