The floors should be at ground level or have ramp access provided for ease of access whether pushing a pram or confined to a wheel chair.
All ground floor doors should be wide enough to give easy access to those reliant on mobility assistance.
A ground floor wet area bathroom allows for use by people of all ages and levels of mobility. Think also of the placement of the light switches and power sockets - these should ideally be 600 to 800mm above floor level and approximately one metre away from corners.
